My journey began when my family immigrated to the States when I was 5 years old, settling in Washington, DC. Those early experiences shaped my resilience and deep appreciation for opportunity, which drove me to pursue a double major in Accounting and Finance at Virginia Tech.
Starting my career in public accounting in the DC area before transitioning into M&A consulting, I advised both sell-side and buy-side clients on financial diligence processes like Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital, and Debt-Like analyses. From there, I moved into an in-house Corporate Development and M&A role with a Fortune 1000 government contractor. During this time, I worked on deals as large as $1.4 billion across regions as far-reaching as Seoul, South Korea.
In 2021, I took on a Director role at a leading home service company, collaborating closely with management and our private equity owners. We grew the portfolio from 9 to 16 franchise brands within 2.5 years. With a strong passion for entrepreneurship, I eventually acquired Color World Painting (operating since 1997). Despite a decline in consumer demand, we were able to grow revenue 20% + year-over-year and expand margins by 13 basis points within just 8 months.
Today, I continue to bring my diverse M&A experience and entrepreneurial spirit to the work I do. Currently, I travel frequently between New York City, Washington, DC, and Columbus. I’m a dedicated Liverpool fan and cherish time spent with family. My approach is to be more than just an advisor – I aim to be a true partner in your growth.
